I have tried many artisan soaps over the past 5 + years since i first started wet shaving. I have came across several that stand out as being above average and just recently tried Shannon's soap (sorry it took so long) and i am so glad i did.
Today i shaved using Shannon's Coconut Lime and what a fabulous shave it was, the soap lathers so good even in my hard water .. it's my experience that i get a better lather with a bit more water than i'd normally use with other soaps.
I especially like the cusion and slickness of this soap and the post shave feel of my skin is amazing. I really like the coconut lime and look forward to trying the Etherea i just ordered through Timeless .. the scent sounds wonderful as do the ingredients.
Have you tried Shannon's soaps? If so which is your favorite? and if you haven't tried i highly recommend you give them a try .. they have samples available for purchase on their website as well

They are one of my favorite soap brands. I love the barbershop and silk pajamas. The soap is very high performance and the price isn’t bad either.

What took so long? Smile

The soap works in hard water because it was formulated to lather in our super hard Lake Erie water.

Pro tip on Etherea: It is even thirstier than our regular soap. It's the goat's milk, I think. So give it a bunch of water - it can take it.

Thanks for the kind words!

Are those the samples you get when you buy a Zenith brush on US ebay? If so I have a whole bunch of them I have yet to use. Scents like lemongrass and such, as I recall.

Yes. The gentleman who sells the brushes also sells our shaving soap on eBay and in his small brick-and-mortar store.

Excellent performing soaps. I have Lady Luck and Silk Pajamas. Love'em. Very good performance all around and great post shave feel.

Shannon's Soaps are without question the best performing soaps in my den.  A number of soaps match up in slickness, cushion, lathering, and frankly other soaps offer some more compelling fragrance choices.  However the post shave feel with Shannon's Soaps is insanely good and the only other soap that I have owned that can compare in that area is Mystic Waters.

Great stuff

I received my Haymarket Vetiver from Maggards and used it a few times.

Outstanding soap! Nothing I’ve tried to date creates such a gooey, thick lather. It takes a good bit of water but explodes with a little work.

The scent is way more citrusy than I expected. I get a ton of grapefruit upfront followed by a light, fresh earthy scent. Not even sure I’d call this soap “Vetiver” but that’s ok.

I want to try others now, but I have a feeling it will be a roll of the dice on the scent profiles.

Let me know if you have any questions on any of the scents, or shoot us an email.  We're happy to answer any questions.  We do offer inexpensive samples on most of our scents.  Shipping makes them a bit more expensive, but they do save you some money over buying a full-size jar.  Many people get a few different varieties at once, which makes the cost per sample + shipping more reasonable

We have been working on upping our scent game.  I'm really proud of Forest City Fern and Etherea (our Timeless Razor collaboration).  No samples available for those yet, however, but trust me, they're great (I am biased, however). Smile

Is your barbershop scent the same fragrance oil that's used in Mike's Natural and Maggards London Barbershop (http://www.wholesalesuppliesplus.com/pro...e-oil.aspx)? Or do you blend your own? Just trying not to end up with three soaps with the exact same scent. Thanks!
