I generally shave every couple of days. I find my results are better when I skip a day. If I shave everyday it's not as close as if I skip. Is it bad for the skin to shave everyday? What do you guys find works best for you?

When keeping allergies at bay, everyday. If not, then every other day. For rare/extreme occasions I chose to restrain from shaving for a full week.

I shave every day. For no other reason than I enjoy being clean shaven. I've experienced no negative results from daily shaving. In fact, my complexion improved drastically once I learned how to properly shave.

Most of the time i shave every other day but there are periods i shave every day cause i love wet shaving and like a smooth clean face. I guess it's a "your mileage may vary" type of thing but i've never had any problems with my skin shaving every day

I've shaved every day of my life for the past 55 years, excluding an occasional miss during two tours in Vietnam. I think daily shaving was passed on to me from my Norwegian grandfather and father, and I've always wanted to be as well groomed as possible for my lovely bride of 50 years. I can't imagine not showering, shaving, and putting on clean clothes every day. I also think daily exfoliation followed by a moisturizing balm has kept my complexion looking much younger than my age, something women have been doing for decades.

I would like to shave every day, but my face don’t like it. I shave every other day.

During the school year I shave in the evening Sunday through Thursday. Friday evening I give my skin a break. Saturday mornings are devoted to slow, comfortable, luxurious shaves. During vacation breaks, I enjoy morning shaves, exclusively.

Usually once a day 'cept during beard spasms or when I feel a need for a fresh start before bed.

Once a day but sometimes twice. Less work for the blade to do, and no chance of irritation Further, more opportunity to experience wonderful cream more often. !.

Most of the time, I shave Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday. On rare occasion, I’ll shave Sunday, Wednesday, Friday.
Always in the morning.

Face is typically every other day. Head ranges from every other day to once a week depending on time. I wish I had time to shave my head every other day but that is usually not the case.

Usually I shave Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays... wearing a goatee and hanging out with a less than polished crew makes a bit of stubble acceptable even for an officer :p

Depending on the situation, but it's usually every other day. Most days I get a clean enough shave to get away with it the following day.
If there is a big event happening the day after a shave day, or on occasion I didn't get a shave as clean as I would like, then on consecutive days.

For me, nothing starts the day off better than a nice shave. I've been shaving daily for 62 years now, almost always in the morning, but if I find a day coming up when I might not have time for a morning shave, I shave the evening before. I've been retired for some time now, and can enjoy a nice, leisurely shave almost every day. As others have mentioned, the shaves plus using a balm--mostly during the winter when the air is very dry--seem to have had a positive effect on my facial skin.
