I'm curious to hear what people's favorite hair tonics are. I've got a bottle of Pashana Brilliantine on the way to go with their aftershave. I'm also really interested in trying Floid's Hair Tonic (Blue), but I can't find any reviews or forum posts commenting on the scent, or if the alcohol dries out your hair.

I'm looking for powdery scents to match my Floid Amber/Genuine and Robert's Borotalco Talcum Powder. Any insights would be appreciated!

How would you describe the scent on this one? I've come across the blue a couple times now.

I would say Floid-Bluish, but more cologne-y (and without the famed "bread note").

My barber mixes it with water in the water bottle that she sprays with, and after the first whiff I bought a bottle.  Its heavenly.

I tried hair tonics and they just didn’t work well for me. Ended up using my normal styling products and adding Jajoba oil to create luster.

+1 on the Reuzel recommendation.  In fact their entire line is wonderful.

The only one I have tried is Vitalis from my local drug store. I am wanting to get more into them but just haven't found that much info on them so I wanted to bump this thread. Has anyone tried Myrsol's hair tonic?
