You can pick whatever color you like...as long as it's ivory. Biggrin

If you're only going to have one color, ivory is the one.

Nice offering Ken.

We haven't quite settled the details yet. And overall, it will depend on USPS delivering the rest of the handles to us safe and sound. The box of about 40 handles these prototypes came in were inexplicably misdelivered on Wednesday to an address in another zip code several miles away.

Anyhow, I only turned 3-5 of each size (new 24 mm "Winnie", 26 mm  Winston, 28 mm Churchill, and 30 mm WC-XL) in Somerset and Butterscotch for Cody to engrave (i.e., about 32 in total). Our plan is to offer them on a first-come, first-served basis on November 30 (at a time to be announced in advance), probably without individual photos of each brush in a size/material combination in order to avoid the problem of multiple people going after the same particular brush at the same time. We'll use the same type of knots and set them as close as we can to the same for each combination.

We thought about doing both Somerset and Ivory, but decided not to based on the problem we could envision for those who might be close to indifferent choosing the wrong line. This sensitivity goes back to when we were doing the Black-Friday releases.

We can and hopefully will make more of these sooner or later, but didn't come up with the idea until after Cody sprang the Halloween brushes on me, so we didn't have much time to put the birthday realease together, and we don't know how much demand for this sort of thing there will be.

FWIW, we've had a framed photo of Churchill on a counter in the shop since close to the beginning.

Oh yeah, we got some 45 mm Neptune, Harlequin, and Graphite rod in a along with two new materials (also in 45 mm). So I also turned some (the first) Winstons, Churchills, and WC-XLs from each of those. But they won't get any special engraving.

This is so cool! I love that you/Paladin are starting to create such fun and different brushes like this. I am also excited you are going to be offering a 24mm!

Sorry for any confusion.

The Somersets are all gone. What's left at present are 5 x 24 mm ("Winnie") in Butterscotch, 4 x 26 mm ("Winston") in Butterscotch, 3 x  28 mm ("Churchill") in Butterscotch, and 1 x 30 mm ("WC-XL") in Butterscotch.

Butterscotch must be out of season.
