We recently learned that Johnny' s days as a wet shaver are over due to Parkinson's.

Johnny has contributed immensely to TSN since its inception in 2012.  His work as a Moderator and Administrator, and his active participation as a member, have helped make TSN the great community that it is.

Thank you for everything you have done for TSN Johnny.  We wish you all the best in dealing with this new challenge in your life.

I’m very sorry to hear this. Do you know whether or not Johnny will continue to shave with a cart or exactly which part of the shaving process is no longer feasible? The reason I ask these somewhat invasive questions is that I’m wondering if we can’t create some products to make shaving possible for Johnny, and others in the same boat, again.

I like Shane's idea! (I just read he will be using a wet/dry norelco).

Thanks for the well wishes guys.  I am just at the beginning stages, so it will be a long time before I start spilling water.  The hands are not steady enough to completely control a blade, even my trusty Schick Injector.  I have had several nicks in the past few months.  As was stated above, I will be using a new handy/dandy wet/dry Norelco Shaver.  Almost sounds like a sin. Smile

I'm not going anywhere and plan to still participate in this wonderful forum.

Thanks again.

My best wishes to you Johnny!  Shaving isn't even close to the best thing life has to offer, continue to enjoy everything else my friend!   Have fun with the Norelco.

It is taking some getting use to but it's not the end of the world.  Thanks for the wishes.

Johnny; you were one of the reasons I choose to make the 'nook the forum of my choice back in the day - your knowledge, experience, friendship and patience with newbie shavers have always been a gold standard for members, mods and admins alike. You were the main reason I decided to buy an injector to try - if Johnny liked it, it had to be good - as well as the one who pointed me to the Bic Sensitive for airline friendly and comfortable shaves on the go. You been an inspiration for me so far Johnny... I hope to be as nice as you when I grow up Tongue

If there is anything I can do to help make your shaves better - or anything else - don't hesitate to ask Smile

This makes me sad.  My father had some symptoms of parkinson's disease but was never diagnosed as having the disease.
