Long story short, I had contacted Sergia of Riga Razor about a picture of a razor I saw he had made but could not find it anywhere and i know he makes large blades but I wanted this particular one in 6/8"-13/16" and he had told me it would be months before he would be able to make it so i kinda forgot about it and had saw where there were mixed reviews on his grinds and I am a full hollow guy but recently got a Dorko 1/4 hollow but thats another story.

Anyway I recently got an email from him telling me my blade was done and I had forgotten all about it but once I saw the blade and had already liked the Dorko i figured I would try it out and see, the razor seems perfect and easily passes the HHT4 and i am not sure what you would call the point of the blade as it's pretty different plus it has a hollow along the spine and i like different so here she is:

That's a sweet-looking razor there Will. I like the shape of the nose and the hollow along the spine - you can have a heavy grind without a heavy blade. That's pretty cool.

Thanks Steve,

The blade even though it's a 1/4 hollow or possibly even less it feels light due to the relief ground just below the spine and i love the slight smile it has, I find blades that have a slight smile are easier to hone.

Smileys shave milder too I think. Mappin and Webb made a razor with a siimilar nose shape I believe.

Cheers, Steve

Nice razor. Many people feel that he's an excellent razor maker, but not that great at honing. Some are asking their razors not be honed, and are sending them out to a honemeister, or honing them themselves. However, everyone feels that he makes one heck of a nice razor. Congratulations.

Very unique. I like the tip of the blade and the recess under the spine.  I'm not a straight user, but from a pure design sense it looks very cool.  Let us know how it shaves.... Sbathroom_grooming_shaving_100-100

A new Classic, Will!  A round point with a Barber's notch (maybe?)   Smile

I was thinking that it looks like a barbers notch also.

It's a great looking razor.
