When did you order? I haven’t heard anything yet. I saw a post where person spoke to Chris and he compared the D plate to Timeless .95

I ordered on 12/4 and my order was number 1032. I went with 3.5" handle and a C plate. Thinking it might be nice to have something in the middle of the road and slightly less aggressive than the Timeless .95 although it's one of my favorites.

I'm probably not a good one to give you a review since I go with aggressive razors (Asylum XL T, Charcoal Goods level 3 SB.Oc. MR SE Feather Super Pro) I received the razor with the C and D plates a few weeks ago. I used SV Flying Mango 4.3 and started with the C plate, after using it for one pass on one side of my face I switched to the D plate. This is a nice cushion slick glide soap I did not feel the blade, I lighten the soap up a bit and still did not feel much blade. The finish shave was a DFS (3 pass's and a clean-up) not what I wanted or what I'm used to. I used the razor the next day again with the D plate with WK and got the same results as the first shave.
I believe many people will like this razor it has a lot of good qualities, nice price, good weight, good quality, nice looking, good grip, plates from very mild to simi mild (my opinion) depending on the plate, a good shave, but for me my shaving requirements are pretty strict, better yet written in stone. Now you need opinions from people who like standard Wolfman's, Rockwell's etc.

Thanks for your opinion. I like what is probably a mid aggressive razor. I have a Wolfman standard gap OC and I use a shim in it because it doesn't have enough blade feel for me without it. For some reason, I just don't get along with razors where I can't feel the blade. I think I probably use too much pressure with those.

Look forward to hearing what you think. I had the D plate and found it too inefficient so I sold it. The razor however, was very well made and fit was spot on.

I really like my Karve razor. I've gotten nice, easy shaves with the c and d plates. The c is pretty mild but still efficient. The d is a little more aggressive but still very comfortable. I think it's a really nice looking razor. I'm good with the d plate but I could see how others might want something more aggressive. I'll be curious to hear about the new e and f plates.
