Again - I was able to score this razor thanks to the extreme generosity of a valued member here - Ed.

As this is my first razor made of aluminum - how does one take care of this razor?

Can I put it in barbicide?
does it rust?

I never was able to find any reviews of this razor -would you please share your thoughts/experience of this razor?

I have not used it but I just received it today. And to be honest I had my doubts but - wow - this is a very well balanced razor...

I use Dawn dishwashing detergent and a soft tooth brush to clean razors.  There have been posts on our forum about Simple Green damaging aluminum razors.

I got the item from the seller at cost.

If I decide to sell it/exchange it - I would first ask for the sellers permission.

I would use extra care on any razor that is polished, anodized, special coating, etc.  I vaguely recall Blackbird recommending a soft cloth as opposed to a toothbrush on the polished razors.
