Hi Guys,

I have been searching for shaving soap or cream that has a something like a Balsam Fir scent.  I have found Lightfoot's Pine soap but from what I have read it's not a good performer.  Any recommendations would be appreciated.  Thanks!

Stirling has several soaps that have woodsy scents; not sure if they are Balsam Fir, per se.  Ozark Mountain is a woodsy scent that is quite nice.

+1 on Stirling soaps. Their Frankincense and Myrrh is surprisingly almost entirely copiaba balsam scented despite the name of the soap.

If you can score a tin; Brutalt Bra Barbersåpe TSN SE "Norwegian Wood" smells wonderful, although of spruce. If you can't score that, look at Mike's Smile

This is the best one I’ve encountered. I also like B&M Latha Taiga. Mike’s is the best though.

B&M Tyga is nice, as was mentioned earlier.  Also, B&M first snow is quite good and in glissant Formula. It is a better base. Additionally, Tallow and Steel Boreal is good.

I've not seen one specifically with Balsam Fir scents - but if you mean piney with a small p.,  Mama Bear has one called Christmas Forest that is nice, and Cold River Soaps has one called Juniper - Speick to me smells piney also but but I think the speick plant itself isn't an evergreen.

I find a lot of Stirling's scents to be very artificial. Christmas Eve smells like one of those pine tree shaped air fresheners you hang on the rearview mirror of your car.

If they had stopped at the Fir and menthol it would be great.

It’s funny, but there’s something about the leather scent mixed in that really makes First Snow a winner for me. Reminds me of winter as a kid for some reason.

I didn’t see Stirling Coniferous mentioned. It is a straightforward pine scent. Dry and true to an actual pine in scent. Does not smell artificial to me.
