Hi all,

Found this forum a couple weeks and figured I’d say hello. I’ve been wet-shaving for probably 3 or 4 years now, recently got more into straight razors and found I developed RAD and probably the brush variant of that disorder too. Wink
Anyway, so far my marriage is surviving the accumulation of shaving supplies to rival my wife’s collection of makeup products and conditioners. So far so good!

Looking forward to the discussions on the forums, sharing ideas and learning from you all.

Ripkin

The brush disorder is BAD. Really, it is.

I like the distinction central New York.
For way too many people in New York City and Long Island, anything above the five boroughs and Nassau/Suffolk is "upstate."

I think people forget about us up here... It’s actually more like the midwest... with higher taxes, probably. Wink

The brush disorder is BAD. Really, it is.

So far I have 3 badgers (nothing crazy high-end though), two silvertip fibres, a Maggard synthetic, and a boar on the way in the mail... From the pics I’ve seen on the forum, things can get MUCH worse.... lol.

I really would love a 26 or greater mm silvertip with some backbone for face lathering... and a synthetic I could dedicate to Barrister’s Lavanille....
Anyone got any suggestions?? Smile
