My take is this more a lack of rigour in operation planning and marketing communication. Were there a consistent flow of product at any rate and clear open communication that this would continue until demand fulfilled, much of this would be resolved. Corporate product launch experience leads to conclusion it is the uncertainty that is driving speculation

Hi Dan,

I'm intrepretating your post as LASSC says James is working to update his production and pricing so there is a more steady and predictable supply of his product, at a higher price point. Is that correct?

Hhhmmm

I do not speak for LASSC but based on conversations MY understanding is they are VERY disinterested in the speculation dominated secondary market. The dissatisfaction was such that they were willing to walk away altogether. Public demand for the product from potential customers seeking to become longterm owners has influenced them to try alternative methods to continue selling to nonspeculator customers or destroy the speculator market altogether.

Beginning 2018, they will attempt at least one such method to address this concern. Not confident at liberty to discuss the potential methods delineated in the conversations and regret stating as much as was posted. The proposed methodologies may be public information but it was unwise to state as much albeit vaguely delineated without passing by the other party regarding express permission.

Those interested, please stay posted to LASSC for clear communication as to the new process. Absolutely confident any seriously interested in purchasing will have a fair opportunity to do so with a time window accessable to all and very clear communication as to the transaction process.

Did Wolfman stop production of the Guerrilla razor?  I'm not seeing it on the Wolfman website.

Here's some information about the Guerrilla, straight from James: "If people still want Guerrilla razors I'll make them, but for now I'm taking it off the menu so I can work on other things."

I understand how you feel, tho I haven't been trying quite that long I think.

I also believe I'm still on the list...I think.

I dig the "artist" deal, up to a point.

But...only up to a point.

There is no list, so I doubt you are on one.

And...  someone's day has been ruined.  I've been constantly refreshing the wolfman site for a month. I ordered a complete set, but should have chosen an increased gap. So I guess it's back to refreshing. I don't mind the limited availability but it is frustrating if you do not have computer or phone access all day.

I have some good news: if you bought that set directly from Wolfman, you can email James and he will change the blade gap as you wish (I think it is free, but don't quote me on that, and I have no idea if he just swaps out the base plate or fixes it up). However, if you bought from a third party, you're out of luck.

I reached out to James. He no longer modifies blade gaps.  It proved to be too costly. All that means is I will have to buy another.

Given the time he must place into each razor to achieve the level of perfection he does, not surprising he can no longer do gap adjs.  Going to have to get it right straight out of box when available to order

Yes, I'm not unhappy by any means with the standard. I think a .74 would be perfect though.

That settles it then.  Time to refresh a ton of times until I get lucky.
