It was sitting all forlorn in a charity shop, saying "Take me home. I'm still worth something!" ...as indeed it is.

You can see it is a boar brush made from a kind of plastic that has been wrapped/seamed, and that the base is missing. It's changed into a lovely buttery colour over time.

When I first looked at it, it had the remnants of a label, but the chap in the shop "cleaned it up a bit" for me as I was wandering around. Oh nooo! BUT, I recall them and they did seem very close to a vintage Rooney label. I can't be 100% sure of course, but I think it's in the right direction. I gave it a wash and not a single hair came out.

Anyway, just one for viewing, and I thought others might like to see what I rescued just earlier today. Discolouration has crept into the handle.
