That should be a good shave.  I always use a little extra water when wet shaving with my Norelco.  Don't want the lather to thick or dry and rinse the heads after every pass.  Have fun.

Thanks Johnny for the tips. I've also been thinking about try my Cremo Sandalwood shaving cream with it, I think that it would work well also.

Let us know how that works out.  I have good luck with the Nivea foam and gel.

I've gotten good results using Barbasol. Norelco recommends using shaving gel. I prefer using a good soap and brush.

I agree about the soap and brush.  One of my favorites is the Czech & Speake Oxford & Cambridge.  A very hard soap that seems to last forever.  I just use more water than I did when shaving with a DE.

I agree with you on the thinner lather. If you go with our normal DE shaving lather the Norelco heads won't shave close, and will actually miss whiskers. Have you tried a preshave powder stick?. I use one when I dry shave with my Norelco's. I always get a close comfortable shave when I use it. I get mine from shavers.com. They have a two stick pack for $10.

Clayton,  all of my years of shaving and I did not know they made such an item.  I will have to check that out.  I will try almost anything once.

In a pinch Clubman fine talc also works if you've got a bottle of that.
