I haven't tried them all but of the ones I have, Salters. One not listed that I like a lot is Al's Boeheme (not UK). While probably not a true rose, it's one of the best scents in shaving, IMO.

I have used only the Trumpers and Harris, and I like the Harris better for both the scent and performance.

I only know the TOBS cream. I like it, especially for its floral aroma, as mentioned by Teiste.

I have poured a 1ml rose absolute into my unscented Simpson shaving cream tube. It is now my favorite English rose shaving cream.

This Simspon shaving cream is really something.

I forgot that I have, and tried the AoS Rose cream, not bad, not my first choice..I did not care for the artificial fragrance..The lather was adequate, not outstanding..But as we always say YMMV....

I've used T&H, TOBS, and Harris Roses. It seems that my preference based on scent and performance is Harris. The others were fine, and I used at least half of the tubs before I sold them out of boredom. The Harris Rose on the other hand is a pure delight to use on special occasions.

AOS Rose cream is the best I've tried period. Trumpers would be next for me.

For me its Al's boheme - a distinct rose smell and rich lather.

I absolutely love rose scented creams and soaps...

Almost as much as I love Turkish Delight!

For me, Dr Harris is the "pick of the bunch"... Tongue

Off the people who have used both DR Harris & GFT shaving creams, which is more thicker comparatively.

Also which the is thickest cream from the poll?

Trying to decipher which is the closest to being a croap.

In my experience with Taylor, Trumper, and Harris creams, Harris Rose was very firm and thick. After a few months, the Harris was almost firm and thick enough to be considered some of the soft soaps.

I love rose. I've only tried GFT, TOBS, and T&H, but my vote went to T&H Rose as it is one of my top 5 creams of all time. To me, floral scents (especially rose) feel like the ultimate in decadent luxury. The only other cream that comes close to giving me that feeling is the now defunct C&E sweet almond oil.

I have tried TOBS and DR Harris, and TOBS is the clear winner for me. Smells awesome and not too overpowering.

T&H to me has the best Rose Scent available today, but Rose Absolute was THE best from AoS when it was available, and the cream was a light pink...so it did not stain the brushes...

Truefitt & Hill and Cyril Salter are my two favorites. I can't choose between the two.

Now that a large (I mean LARGE) stash of the long discontinued Coates has become available, I am retroactively changing my vote to Coates Rose. I have to say that because I have enough now to last me two lifetimes, and then some. And I noticed a post from Teiste somewhere in this thread,on the first page, where you mention that AOS shaving creams are made in UK. I recently bought a tub of (very nice) AOS Ocean Kelp, and it states that it is made in USA, for what it's worth.

Coates is the best of all, but I will always vote for Trumper's.
