Name one thing you’re going to try in 2018 (shaving related) - and hopefully, post back later and let us know how it went.

I’m going to try a month (January) of every-other-day shaves. For no other reason than just to see if I get more enjoyable results.

I'm going to try for the first time all of my shaving items I haven't used yet. Mostly soaps and razors.

Looking forward to a report.  I'm assuming this is every other day vs everyday?

I'm going to relax about the quality of my shave results, stop obsessing about BBS shaves, and try to just enjoy the razors, blades, soaps, brushes, and experience.

Couple of things (so far)

1, Paradigm Razor - heard so much and getting one for all so to speak - more later

2, Gem blade in One Blade Genesis - thanks to one of members here

3, Wolfman for extended usage before specing custom build - tried onesies before

4, Ditching tonne of scented soaps to go unscented relying on Fragrance as is proper - BUT STILL STICKING WITH GROOMING DEPT

5, Timor DE Blades - done already and suspect new favourite slightly smoother than Polsilver but unfortunately just a hair less efficient

6, Thater Boar Brush - going to give it a go

7, Tatara Razor - Heard so much and getting one for all so to speak - more later

8, Pitralon AS - Heard so much so trying

Comparing the actual shave results and comfort factor of all my under $75.00 razors....Ikon SBS,Colonial Aluminum and the two Phoenix ...Alpha Ecliptic and new Gem S.E which I shall receive today....in other words does dollar amount translate to a better shave or just a better look...I am a serious collector and have just about ever razor ever made so this is the shaving test not the must have test....back to basics for a week or two.
