Just a little heads up that we have received our first batch of polished Asylum Razors. We have the Asylum Rx, The Evolution Model T and the Evolution XLT (Brass) all in a mirror polish.

Well, my polished Evolution T arrived this afternoon, and it is absolutely stunning.  The polished steel is perfect and mirror quality.  Even the knob of the thread, which protrudes through the cap on the Darwin design, is polished.  Very nice touch.

It's so shiny I'd use it as a shaving mirror and shave with it at the same time, but I'm not fast enough.

Nice work, Phil.

I’m holding out for a polished SS standard plate version.

Ricardo, I'm no photographer and certainly not in your class.  My razor looks just like the official Asylum photos, but shinier.  My family is walking around with welder's helmets to protect their eyesight from the glare coming from the bathroom.

Congratulations Phil @bullgoose Could you post some pictures of the Asylum RX, especially of the inside parts, please? I'm a bit curious to see 'how good' the razor is polished. Thank you in advance. I really love my machined/satin one !

One of the nice touches on the Evolution is where the polishing isn't.  Specifically, the internals where the blade touches the razor are matte.  Polishing there would lead to microscratches with constant blade interaction.  Well thought out.
