Is there any difference between shaving cream that is available in a squeeze tube and cream in a round tub with screw-on lid? Thank you

Almost never.
l'Occitane Cade is one exception.

AdP is another where the formulation changes from tube to jar.
But otherwise I agree, almost never different.

Well, the differences might have been for outside reasons but I have a great affinity for the now defunct,  of course, TOBS Shaving Shop cream and my search only yielded a couple of the tube variety.  When I squeezed them into an empty tub it became quite apparent that neither the fragrance nor the consistency were the same. Luckily I still have a tub of the stuff in reserve. That's my only experience of comparing tub and tube.

Agree with others. Mostly the same, the exceptions being the ADP tub and CADE tubs. They are superior to their tube counterparts.

Ron,
I don't recall ever seeing Cade in a tub so only tried the tube (been a while and beyond the scent I don't really remember much about it). What is it about the tub that you feel is superior?

Regarding Cade tub (vs tube):

Different formulation, and better in terms of building lather (ease),  glide and protection, IME.

Thanks, now I guess I'll have to follow my wife into L'Occitane and hunt for Cade.

While you're there, grab an aftershave balm. I don't care for the Cade scent myself and prefer Mer&Mistral or L'Homme. But no matter the fragrance, it's a great ASB.

I'm not sure why, but I've never really looked at any of their shave products except cream. I have checked out and bought some of their bath soaps. I guess I'll look more carefully at their men's section (small as it is).
