I bought a bottle and used it the last 3 days so far I’m really impressed. It takes 7 drops for me and my face looks and feels great. Wish I would have found it sooner

Johnny as we have discussed I have been using it for the past several days and really like it, not sure I will forfeit all my other splashes but it’s very nice and the results so far have been positive.

I have enjoyed mine since I received it Saturday.  Not saying I will use it everyday, but believe it will be good during the winter for those cold dry days.  I still like my alcohol splashes and have no plans of doing away with them.  In the winter I also really like the Small Batch Shave Tonic.  I am glad you and Toby told me about this product.

Interesting.   Can anyone describe it in more detail.   Is it basically just an oil mix?

When it first goes on it is kind of like a preshave oil, but it soon  soaks into the skin leaving your face feeling very soft.  After about 10 minutes, there is no sign of oil.  Has a nice cinnamon / vanilla scent to it.  The scent is not that strong and pretty much disappears within one or two hours.

I'm enjoying my Sebum Gold as well, Johnny. I keep it at my office and apply six or eight drops on days when I use an aftershave splash, rather than a balm, after shaving in the morning. Interesting that you note a cinnamon/vanilla scent. My sniffer gets a wood scent, kind of like freshly cut lumber. Vanilla is the prominent scent I get from Derby City Chop Shop, which I agree is another great product.

Have been using it solely for about a week and can’t believe how good my face feels, I as well only apply 6-8 drops and find it goes on kind of oily but quickly is absorbed.

Yowza. I looked it up and can’t get past the price. Be nice to try but I’ll hold off for now

Thanks for catching my mistake.  The Derby City Chop Shop Small Batch Shave Tonic is the one that has the cinnamon/vanilla scent.  You are also correct about the Se bum Gold.  Kind of a woodsy outdoor, sawmill kind of scent.

I like the sound of this product! But it is wicked expensive for what is (as asked above) an oil mix.

I have been using it everyday even on days I skip shaving and the Mrs even uses it on her legs after shaving and we both have had positive results in using it, we are in no way affiliated with the maker so this in just our non scientific opinion of the product, the post shave feel many hours after use have been super pleasant and I only use 7-8 drops, be advised though that you don’t want to apply an alcohol splash over top of this as according to the maker it defeats the end result of using it so they advise that a scented splash be applied before and then let the alcohol evaporate then apply or you can apply the scented splash to areas not treated with the Se Bum, is it pricey, yes it is but for the amount I use as a post shave treatment it will last a long time and if I were to not apply on days I skipped shaving it would last even longer but then I got my bottles when they were having a very good sale.

I also picked up my Sebum Gold on sale, for $75. I'd looked at it before, but wasn't willing to spend $125. I'd buy it again for $75, but $125 is too much, in my opinion.

This is a very good product. I've been using it for weeks. A little goes a long way.  It's not just any type of oil.  The ingredients are quite beneficial for the skin and this stuff is perfect for winter weather. Pricey yes, but this stuff should last for quite awhile. If you add a few drops to a balm, such as brume.be, it's absolute magic! Highly recommended.

Its back up to $125, good product but pretty pricey, I picked up two bottles when it was on sale and will be gifting my son one, I believe Rick is going to release 1oz dropper bottles of it soon but dont know the cost.
