I had to sell my Genesis earlier this month, because I needed funds for an emergency. Once the problem was resolved, I ordered another Genesis. I don't understand the low resale value for the OneBlade, as it is a sweet razor.

I have contemplated selling my OB more than a couple of times but I procrastinated it for the only reason that it was my first high end razor after switching to Wet shaving 2 yrs back.

It has given me wonderful shaves everytime I have used it, if I limit the blade usage to max 3-4 shaves, 3 is better though.

I intend to sell my OB finally but won't be pricing it ridiculously low. By pricing it too low we are hurting the future purchases of OB by prospective new customers in my opinion.

One of the reasons is that OneBlade often offers deals (I got mine for 299 for example), so those who are looking to get it at a low price can wait for such a deal instead of buying an used one from BST.

So even though the retail is 399, most people are comparing the BST prices with heavily discounted prices of OB.

I guess you're right.

To me this reflects the market's judgment about OneBlade's retail price.

Charles, that's also true. I think the company understands that and they offer discounts from time to time.
For a razor that takes only one blade( see what I did there) and there are no other options, the price is just too high. But to each his own.
