A second batch is now in stock, and I just placed an order. I'm so happy that I did not miss out! I'm looking forward to this one.

Five years? Has it been that long? You have consistently produced some of my favorite shaving soaps and aftershaves! Thanks for everything you have brought to us wet shavers and keep it up my good man!

^ Well done Sir! I admit I went a little crazy myself stocking up on some old favorites and getting some new stuff as well.

My package finally arrived to me here! The select soap will match the accolades. The foam is quick to make and sits on top of the brush very shiny and holds the wetness so well. Yes, you will have the most slick with the razor here. The aftershave is nice on my face making a neutral feeling and not greasy as some. I do like the perfume and it does not bother me. Yes I will buy again but not now i have so much soap to use.

I've been using the Colonia Med now off and on for the past couple of weeks. Changing it up with a couple other soaps. going back to it reminds me each time what a great soap the Glide is. The Colonia scent is one of my favorites for sure.

I am a fan of CRSW select soaps.
I recently acquired Creed GIT and enjoy this edp a lot, so I looked for CRSW prato verde soap, which is said to be inspired by GIT.
Thanks to our member “silence” I acquired prato verde.
A very good shave, as I expected.
A scent similar to GIT, but ...

It is similar, but I dislike it.
Odd. Maybe it is me.
I’ll take it to a trip for a few days to find out if I will get used to it.

Apogee, this is precisely why I dislike all these attempts to use similar scented products, which usually aren’t the perfect match anyway.

Even some of the top brands own attempts at having a similar scented EDT fragrance, after shave and deodorant quite often are not 100% identical. If the same company can’t even do it, how will attempts at mixing different companies clones then end up ?

I was a huge fan of D&G Pour Homme, Chanel Allure Homme and Boss Bottled in the late 90’s and early 2000. I hardly used any other fragrances than these 3 and owned the entire series from all 3 brands - EDT, after shave, deodorant stick and deodorant spray.

Honestly they didn’t really managed to match the scents 100% in my view.
Quite close, but not perfect match between each of the 3 fragrances I used back then. The Chanel Allure Homme deodorant stick was not a perfect match to the EDT Allure Homme fragrance. And I bought all my Chanel at the Chanel boutique in Copenhagen.

I now rarely ever focus on using the same scents. Instead I focus on using scents that are different, but will complement each other.
I do the same when I mix fragrances.

FYI I still have a soft spot for these 3 fragrances, but I decided life was too short to use 3 Signature scents and went back to collection fragrances again in early 2010.
I can’t see myself ever owning less than 100+ fragrances again. I am however trying to cut down on my bottle count, still at 250-300 full Unique bottles though. It’s a tough long process to cut down when there are so many high quality fragrances out there.

On topic - I still own a dozen of Larry’s old Select soaps and they still perform fantastic.
