Of those that you can get at grocery store or pharmacy... which is your preferred?

Mine is currently Aqua Velva.
I like its strong menthol cooling, and it does seem to heal the skin to make it feel and look better.
The scent is probably a bit controversial, but I enjoy it for what it is.
I do wish it didn't not have such a strong color blue, but the pros outweigh this con.

Barbasol Brisk for the same reasons described by Nero for Aqua Velva.

Pinaud Clubman, which I think counts because I can get it at my local drug store.

I would also include Proraso Red and Cella, because they're drugstore brands, just not where I live.  So maybe they don't count.

Not much is available in my local pharmacy or grocery store, offering only Clubman or Skin Bracer. I can't stand Clubman, and my wife complains that I smell like a pine tree when I use Skin Bracer. I'd rather go to a different area of the pharmacy and pick up a bottle of Witch Hazel.

Australia here. Nivea sensitive balm. Not much else commonly available around where I live.

If someone said I smelled like a pine tree, I'd say thank you and give them $5 :-D

Here in my neck of the woods you can find Old Spice, Mennen, Pinaud, and a few others. Of those three I have a bottle of Clubman which I use occasionally. My preference though is Dickinson’s witch hazel. It’s about half the price of Thayers and every bit as good. I’ve tried a couple of store brands, but am turned off by the acetone-y scent that seems to predominate.

Oh, and Matt,,, you smell like a pine tree. Will PM you my address.

Johnny, it looks like I need to try Skin Bracer, because the other three on your list are also my faves.

I'll be an outlier and suggest Pacific Shaving Co's caffeinated after shave balm. Readily available at Target. Really great stuff.

I checked out Skin Bracer today, and I was not really a big fan. It's not bad, I just prefer the AV, OS, and PC.

I have used AoS ocean kelp, AoS lemon, RazoRock Tuscan Oud, Razorock Emperor, Stetson Black, Sterling executive Man aftershaves and the only one that got a compliment was the Gillette green goop.
