I thought I would put four reviews into one on four of the best soaps I've tried, so far.....

WILD ROSE: I've commented on another post. Really great rose smell, reminds me of my Grand Mother, while shaving. A soft cream, producing a fine thick yogurt type lather, simply sublime.
FRENCH VETIVER: You either like it, or you don't. A creamy soap that lathers like there is no tomorrow! The scent, like old wicker stored in an attic, broom straw broom sweeping an old wood floor store room.
It's been about 30 minutes since I shaved and the French Vetiver is still there.
INDIAN SANDALWOOD: A soft soap, creamy as the others, great lather, slick as a whistle. The scent much milder.
SUBLIME CITRUS: Firmer than the others but still a soft cream same lather. The scent is citrus, mild last the shave and fades away.
Overall impression of CYRIL R. SALTER Luxury Shaving Creams. All thick, slick, easy latherers, just a dab will do. They are the "Real Deal" great product, for face lathering, IMHO......

You need to let the Vetiver air for a few hours and give it a stir.
The Vetiver essential oil/extract tends to create a gas that smells awful.
It also happens, to less extents, with Mike's vetiver.
When I first got my tub I thought - YIKES!
Give it some airing, stir it, and you will have a fantastic cream over there.
