I got a vintage Old Spice mug with the clipper ship on it, and have been using that exclusively since it came in.  I'm looking to get a decent lathering bowl eventually for my cream(s), but so far I am totally into this milk-glass beauty.  Who else has any?

I have one with the original soap, which I use in my regular rotation.  Nice mug and excellent soap.

I have 6 of various vintages.  I like them a ton as you can tell.  Here are 4 in rotation.[Image: syU3vZX.jpg]

Anhhh! That blue one.

I get teary eyed every time I see one.

Mine took a leap off the counter one day. If only I had treated it better...   Sad

I have the second one from the right in Lipripper's photo (Grand Turk, Salem 1786). Found it in a local antiques store. The store also has about 4 old Gillette TTOs. They look to be in serviceable condition if not the best cosmetic condition (course they may clean up well). Trying to decide if I want to pop the $25 he wants for each one. Had a bottle of OS talc, but never used it. May have tossed it when we moved about 4 years ago (I'll have to look and see).

I have 10 of the shaving mugs.  They are fun shaving Americana to collect and not that expensive, except for the earliest pre-WWII pottery mugs.  There's a very good website with photos of the various examples and narrative descriptions of what distinguishes one from another.  But it's not the site of a TSN vendor, so I don't think I can post it.  If I could find it, you can too.

I have two Old Spice mugs, looking at getting a Grand Turk mug for using Williams Mug Soap in.
Currently both mugs have the Razor Blade stash residing in them.
These are such a nice , simple piece of Americana...love that blue one with the brush.

I thought I had some OS laying around!

New in box mugs

Soap wrapped and sealed. Wonder if the soap is useable?

Hey Garb! I am fairly certain that the soap is still useable based off of using a NOS vintage one this morning!

AMAZING!

Just seeing this reminded me that the soap was still in the box. Hmmmm guess I do need a shave.

It'll never work.  For health reasons send it to me for proper disposal (three passes at a time).

I have, and use, the OS shave mug my dad gave me.
He got it from grandma in 1977, in an OS shave gift set, when we got back from being stationed in Okinawa.
He also gave me his old Gillette Super Speed razor (Q4 1976 manufacture) which was also with the set, which is currently at Razor Emporium getting the doors and guard re-plated.
Still looking for the OS shave brush. If we find it, and the knot is in good shape, I'll clean it up and use it. If the knot is toast, and the handle is in good shape, I'll have the knot replaced and use it.
