The Italian soap with the Chinese name. Torino Forti Sensazioni, a lemon scented soap, not citrus blend or lemon/lime, just lemon.
I like the smell, like summer and lemonade.... Rolleyes
Lathers nice, I bloomed and used my SV brush b/4 it broke... Sad
Easy lather, pleasant scent, slick, has a nice face feel after shave. 8.4 oz. container, pretty low price. Overall a verrry nice croap... Thumbup

Tcheon Fung Sing are great soaps I have 5 of their LINEA INTENSO soaps in various fragrances.  I will soon be buying more of his various soaps.  Although the soap is made in Italy the man who makes it is Chinese.  I believe he moved to Italy in the 1950's.

I'm a recent convert. They're excellent on my skin. So I have a pretty large order coming in from Europe, and I'll post a pic when it arrives. It's at US Customs now.

The four Abbate y La Mantia brand soaps that I've used are incredible and very unique (TFS makes them for this family, who incorporates their saffron from the family garden into the soap). I have a separate order coming directly from them in Italy.

...It's gonna be a good week of deliveries

As well, RR Saturnia (Tuscan herbal/sufuric) and Puros (Cuban cigars/leather) are immaculate as well. I'm 99% sure TFS still make these type soaps for them. I've already stocked up on both of these for the Shaveapocalypse haha (I love that word).

That's 60+  years ago.  I'm assuming it's not the original artisan making today's soaps?

About Tcheon Fung Sing:

This name which is so difficult to pronounce is the name of the founder, a brave man, who was born in China and arrived in Italy in 1930. During the war he was interned in a prisoner-of-war camp and after World War II he married an Italian woman. With his wife, he decided to found this company and using his knowledge in the field of soapmaking, he began to produce shaving soaps.
On October 7,1951, Tcheon Fung Sing won the Gold Medal for shaving products during the first Turin fair. The shaving soap production continued through the decades and was handed down through three generations. The first one to carry on this business was Tcheon Fung Sing's daughter, Gabriella Tcheon, and now his grand-daughter, Paola Barile runs the operation.  It is quite incredible that two women continued innovating and producing a very masculine product: shaving soap! From the origins to now, T.F.S. has respected the ancient knowledge of the founder, using original formulas and producing shaving soaps using only vegetable based raw materials. The duration of those soaps, produced without preservatives, is guaranteed by the handmade production. Tcheon Fung Sing continues to innovate under the leadership of the expert and skilled soapmaker, Paola Barile, who is taking the company forward into the future by constantly innovating and creating new products.

This is the difference between being an artisan in Europe (knowledge passed through family/learned by apprenticeship) and being an artisan in USA (anyone with access to the internet and some mixing containers).

Love TFS soaps and they are really under appreciated for the cost performance factor. Their Anniversary Italian Fern is one of my favorite scents.

Matt, you must have enough stuff to see you out of this life and the next three.
Where do you store it all, the warehouse at the end of Raiders of the Lost Ark?
