Hi folks,

I'm Graeme and I live just south of Edinburgh in not-so-sunny Scotland. Started wet shaving as a teenager but only just converted to DE in the last couple of weeks.

Am also a member of The Shaving Room forum based in the UK but saw a few familiar names here and thought I'd join in.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to learning as much as I can, contributing where my limited experience allows and having a bit of good old banter!

Cheers,
Graeme Smile

Ha Graeme, Hearts of Midlothian is fine with me. I just remember seeing Green and White stripes as a child and when we're children we tend to pick things we like the look of so it was Celtic for me. Coincidentally, once I saw the Black and Yellow stripes of Dortmund, I became a fan of them as well. Not quite sure how to explain my love of Lyon, West Ham, and Arsenal.

I'll pass on the Erasmic but thanks and welcome again to the site

Welcome to The Shave Nook, Graeme, and enjoy your stay. Smile

I visit a friend in Dunfermline every summer. What town south of Edinburgh do you call home?

Och no again, big man! Other side o' the country, the side with the capital, Edinburgh. Hearts, the Jam Tarts and current Scottish Cup holders (beat our city rival Hibs 5-1 to win the cup).

Only kidding Tongue. Scottish football is so heavily dominated by the Old Firm of Rangers and Celtic that its no surprise few of the other teams get a mention.

Biggrin

Cheers for the amazing welcome folks.

P.S. I live in Milton Bridge on the outskirts of Penicuik and used to go to Dunfermline with a mate when Hearts weren't playing at home.

A friend of mine, her parents Mom - rangers, Dad -Celtic, their house is blue upstairs and green downstairs, and the game days are watched alone in separate parts of the house its funny, and well the two teams dominated for so long it was easy to be a fan of one or the other, but supporting the local team always gets a plus in my books... for hockey i live in toronto Sad they are a tough team to love

Aye, its causes some friction. My old boss is a died-in-the-wool Rangers man and won't wear anything remotely green, or even yellow! Never had a green car and wouldn't go in a pub if it had a green door. When our work brought out a green and gold tie, he choked on his tea and spat it half way across the office!
