Hey folks, new member here...
Three years ago I started out on my "quest for the perfect shave" as I then called it. I had shaved that morning with my Phillips rotary shaver, dry, with no aftershave treatment of any kind and went about my day. By noon my face felt like 600 grit sandpaper and I'd had enough.
Over the next 18 months Id ordered all kinds of different stuff from Amazon, mixing and matching, looking for the perfect combination. Then I discovered Pasteurs Pharmacy!
Im an airline pilot, and despite living in Oklahoma Im hq'd in nyc I mentioned to my roommate that I was going into the city to this pharmacy and thats when I learned that : it was called wet shaving, Im not the only person with too many product, and my roommate was also into wet shaving !
So thats it in a nut shell ... In addition to growing my wet shaving collection in general , I am also actively experimenting with the best way to wet shave while traveling with bowl/brush/etc.
When Im home I use a Merkur 34c, but on the road I use a Panasonic electric razor, wet, with a thick lather, while showering. Its impossible to travel with de blades, even for a crewmember, hence the electric razor
