Yes,another poll from a big time/hard fan lavender scent lover.

I have tried several lavender scent shaving creams and I must admit that some are nicer than others.

My favorite one?Trueffit and Hill lavender cream. It reminds me of the old Acqua Di Parma Lavanda Tonica EDT.A fresh scent with some herbal and deep notes.

My second is Tabula Rasa Dark Lavender : notes of lavender with some deep woody ones.

True Gentleman lavender shaving cream is not very popular but its scent is very nice as well as the Art of Shaving and Castle Forbes : the 3 of them use lavender EO.

Truefitt and Hill Ultimate Comfort is another very nice too , but I only have tried the made in UK version , with a hint of lavender, due to its natural oil.I dont know how good is the Made in USA version of this cream.

D.R. Harris lavender has a nice purple deep color but a faint lavender scent. However,it provides a very good lather.

Vulfix and Taylor of Old Bond Street lavender are ok : theyre kind of inexpensive but I prefer the other lavender shaving creams better.

Herbs of Bulgaria lavender cream was a very nice one and kind of cheap.

The new Musgo Real Lavender cream is quiet close to the Lavanda but I prefer the Musgo Real version.

The Valobra Lavender (limited edition run) has a spicy lavender scent.I would consider it as a hard shaving cream.

What about you,gentlemen?

I voted for lavender shave cream which didn't have a brand name. The only one I have ever tried is Kiss My Face lavender and shea shave cream from an 11oz pump.

I have not smelled all of them, but of the ones I have, my vote goes to Castle Forbes.

I also voted, OTHER as MdC is not represented.

D'oh Sorry. Then CF is my favorite...sorry. Then I would have voted AOS and CF (instead of Other and CF).

I've tried lavender creams from T&H, Castle Forbes, Coate's, and Harris, and most recently, Musgo Real's new Lavender cream. I voted for the Musgo Real version because it's new, even though Coate's and T&H are wonderful. Musgo's version should earn a place right up there on the same mountaintop, after a lot of the guys have had the opportunity to enjoy it.

The only lavender cream I've tried so far is Derby. I'm not sure where you gentleman find the time (and money for that matter) to try all these soaps and creams! Getting hooked on wet shaving on student's budget was not a good idea...

I've only ever tried the Herbs of Bulgaria Lavender shaving cream, and while I enjoy it, I'm not sure I can lend much to this discussion. Anyone else able to give a comparison?

I voted other with Dr. Selby in mind. It claims to be a cream, and I'm told it is supposed to be lavender scented. All I know is that it is terrific.

My vote was for CF as I currently like a strong natural lavender scent. I also like T&H very much, but it is a blended lavender. I'd also like to mention Solea Lavender shaving cream (lathers like Nivea) having a nice blended lavender scent.

My all time favourite would be the the old Harris lavender. Thats a very strong blended lavender. I couldn't stand it at first, but now I love it! I only have about a weeks worth in a metal tube...

I checked Castle Forbes as that's the only one listed that I have used. Like Bruce, I will wait on your soap pole to cast my vote for MdC.

The only lavender shave cream I have ever tried is Prairie Creations emu/tamanu oil variety.

The scent is wonderful. Performance and feel may be the best I've ever experienced. Thumbup

Dont try the D.R. Harris either : its lilac color is even deeper but I never had a problem with it lathering my badger or boar brushes.
