and it was Awesome (Don Jose-bannana/coconut with menthol).  Used Timeless .95 SB with Astra Blade, Simpson Duke 3, Fine Snake Bite, Pen's Lothair Cologne and it was a sublime shave!

Happy Shaving!!!

It's very fine stuff! Wonderful in shave and post. Honestly a zero-complaint product.

I have 8 of them now. All of them except the Isacco (fig and apple)... maybe I'll add it some day.

I bought 4. Isacco (fig and apple), Don Jose, Vulcano, and bay laurel (Laurento) not sure if I spelled that correctly. They are very fine indeed!

Well, ha, I recently got several of them (and many other soaps in the past couple weeks) so I can't give a real perspective.
Ironically, Krokos is my favorite scent in the aftershave but my least favorite scent in the soap. The saffron doesn't really come out in the soap scent but it is beautiful in the AS.

Of the five soaps I've tried, I suppose I'd rank them like this:
Garden (much nicer lathered than in jar)
Vulcano
Vegano / Don Jose (tie)
Krokos

My skin feels truly great no matter which I use. The ranking is really for scent.

In the jar, I'm not sure I'm a fan of Laureato. Maybe my mind will change once I use it. Smells like a cola drink but not as developed and satisfying.

Matteo (frankincense/myrrh) and Crumiro (Italian biscuit) are nice but very muted in the jar, and I think the scents will really shine once lathered.

They are around $28 a tin for 5 oz.  However, they can compete with the best non-tallows on the market in my opinion like MdC, Nuavia and SV which are all expensive as well.  They are a little softer than those soaps but man I was blown away by them and they are fun to shave with as it must be the unique fun graphics on the tin and the unique scents.  SV is a harder soap and triple milled and will last longer so the best bang for your buck in a non-tallow would be SV re-fill puck in my opinion but I still don't think SV has the post shave of Abbate.  I guess this is my long answer for saying absolutely yes.  They are a stellar performer.

Found a UK website (The English Shaving Company) in which they are $21 excluding the VAT tax plus about $3.00 for international shipping for a total $24.00.  Absolutely worth every dime.

I totally agree the AYLM post shave is much better than any formula of SV that I've tried (including the latest). AYLM is one of the best in that department, and SV is still not even in that discussion. Sorry, but it's the truth.

There are three different price levels in USA.
$44 for Krokos..
$22 for others.
$28 for the rest.

Price is subjective, but considering the little competition in quality and originality, it's a winner by some margin.
I have no regrets exploring this avenue. It brings me happiness.

Opinions....Everybody has one. I bought the Krokos, for my birthday. Didn't use it until today, I find it OK, to me no better than C.R. Salter, Truefitt & Hill,
etc;......But I think a $5 bottle of table red tastes the same as a $200.bottle of wine (I hate them all)...So, what do I know. I like what I like.

I do like the wide mouth jar. It's a nice product, just not that G-R-E-A-T to me.... Cool

Interesting. You couldn't pay me to use an English cream these days.

I love 'em all.  Krokos is the best.  I'm on my 3rd jar.  Something magical about the saffron I think.

I started with just Krokos, then added 3 more, then added another 2, and now I have the entire collection.

Isacco is excellent.  Love the fragrance. It's my second choice.  (I purchased it fairly recently along with Don Jose, so it didn't make it in the photo)

Don Jose is going to be my summer choice.  I super-lather it with Krokos.  SUBLIME.

Crumiro has an extremely mild scent.  Nice warm fragrance though—lovely in the winter.

Fine soaps they are!

Nice David!  You are a AYLM killer.

I actually added the Isacco to an order yesterday, so I will have the full soap collection by week's end.

Have you found an aftershave to pair it with?  I can't seem to find a suitable one from my (rather modest) collection.  I'm just using an unscented moisturizer for now.

They now have matching aftershaves for some soaps.

Congrats, Ron!

Which scent did you go with? Or should I say "scents"?
