Anybody use it? Who sells it? I have some Thayer's witch Hazel but no alcohol in it. I generally don't like the which hazel smell. I sometimes want that alcohol sting and the disinfection properties but without the scent. I think the alcohol wards off the tiny little white bumps I get once in a while. Really looking for a splash vs a balm.

I love Fine Snakebite but it has a bunch of menthol in it. I love the immense menthol in it especially during the summer. It is scentless.  Pretty much water, alcohol and menthol. It has 5 times the menthol of normal menthol aftershaves but I really don't think it is unbearable or uncomfortable.  It is just right in my opinion.

Fine Aftershave is advertised as "Ingredients*: Alcohol, Water, Fragrance, Menthol."

So if you were to buy some perfumer's alcohol and menthol crystals, but skip the fragrance oil, you should be in business.

Really wet your face and use an alum bar, no fragrance.

Bottle of Everclear, in the liquor section. Cut it with Witch Hazel or water....shake b/4 use, splash..and dash.
Vodka works too.

Yep, I use it.  Pure is completely unscented.  The other 2 in the photo are very light scent.  I prefer light scents in the summer.  Sometimes I mix them with a drop of my favourite scented ones. Just received my new supply yesterday.

It's simple to make your own. When you're done, you can add essential oils or your favorite cologne for a matched pair. This is my recipe. Tweek to suit. Bottles cheap on Amazon.

1/4 Cup of Rubbing Alcohol (70% IPA) or Vodka

1/8 Cup of Witch Hazel
1/2 Tablespoon Glycerin
1/2 pinch Alum

This is what you'll want. Soothing amount of menthol with a great post-shave feel. Feels really moisturizing too.

For a balm, Gentlemans Refinery is a good one.

Myrsol Metilsol.

Super astringent. High dose of alcohol, menthol, ALUM and thymol. Very faint herbal scent that disappears in seconds.

The alum & thymol combo make it unique. Really invigorating and absolutely neutralizes any nicks or weepers
