It is a mid-aggressive + shaver. It is smooth and a bit more aggressive than the ubiquitous Merkur 34C or EJ DE89.
However, YMMV as all of the responses you'll get with be subjective and you'll have to experience it, for yourself.
Good luck.  Shy

I, too, found the Muhle Rocca mid-aggressive. A good shaver, I might add. It was a wee bit more aggressive than I like a razor, however. The birch handle creates a silky feeling in the hand and the razor a pleasure to hold. Oh, there's also some weight to the Rocca. Overall, I find it not only quite handsome, but overall a good razor and efficient shaver.
One more thing: the shave head covers the entire blade, so there's no blade overhang, which I find a big plus.

I agree with Obie. I very much like the Birch Rocca. Muhle finishing is beautiful on this one

I also find it mid aggressive. Not quite R41 aggressive, but def more so than their entry level offerings.

I quite like it.

The razor is more aggressive than my EJ, but gives a very close shave with only 2 passes  , sometimes one plus touch up. Ño irritation and rarely any nicks.   My sensitive skin feels wonderful after. Just let the weight of the head do  the work.

I'll join Obie, Steelman, and Roy in praising this razor.  Mid-aggressive to be sure, between the R89 and R41.  Very smooth shaving, looks great, and feels great in the hand.  I can't seem to get anything other than a perfect shave from it with a Personna Med Prep blade.  The birch handle is a beautiful, and unusual, touch IMO.  Among all stainless razors, this seems to be a good value.

Oh, my. That is a gorgeous razor. I have been away from the game too long, or I'd have already known this existed and bought one. Mid-aggressive, you say? Ahem. Time for the Google and the credit card.

This will definitely be one of the next razors I buy. Love the look and mid aggressive sounds perfect.
