I see it now! It really looks like an SE from that angle. Our SE is definitely unmistakable, though.

Haha! Can’t wait to see it Shane!

Shane, have you ever posted any pics of the SE yet? Thought you had.

I don't think i will buy the DE, but i'm really looking forward to the SE AC type razor. I just hope it will accept all AC blades, the Paradigm looks nice, but you can't use the guarded blades, and i like those quite a bit.
I hope Shane will post a few pictures soon.

Love the excitement about the AC SE, guys. We’ll address all those questions when that razor is formally announced and gets its own thread.

This is a production head and not the final product. Also the handle is a Maggard not what will be used when released for sale.

The head is functionally the same at the final production version. We just have a couple small tweaks for machinability and aesthetics. The performance will be identical.

That head looks great Shane.  I am eager to see the handle design.  Keep up the good work.

I have the final production-ready heads and they look great and perform just as well as the pre-production version. I’ll post some photos shortly. All parts are being machined now over the next couple weeks and we’re still looking like early June for the release.

Edit: Also, Scott the Clean Shaver has had a Dart Head for a few days. He’s made a few posts to his Instagram and Facebook (including a live shave) that you may want to check out.

My best answer is soon. Hopefully the next week it so. We’re waiting on machine time to open up to run these handles. The handles run much quicker than the head pieces so we wanted to get a jump start on the heads. Looking good for an early June release.

The Dart looks great, I’m glad to see the ridged blade design.

Will the handle have the proprietary step down cut the enters the baseplate, or a traditional flush fit? I’m hoping the latter! ?

Traditional.

Definitely not initially. Haven’t made a long term decision.

I probably wouldn't be as interested if the DART weren't a Blackland.  But the Sabre and Blackbird are exceptionally made razors, so I'm definitely curious about the DART.

I appreciate that! The Dart is made to the same standards, in the same facility, and with the same equipment as those razors. Smile
