Hello everyone, my name is Scott. I live in Ankeny Iowa, I'm Medical Laboratory Scientist. I have been wetshaving for about six months, in that time I've accumulated a great deal of shaving material. My interest include Premiere League soccer, reading nonfiction, and spending time with my 3 year old daughter.

Welcome, Scott. You will find there is an incredible amount of knowledge on shaving (and a lot of other subjects) available on the forums. You will also find that acquisition disorder is probably the thread that connects us even more tightly than wet shaving!

If we just went with a relatively low end razor, brush and one soap/cream we'd be golden. But by the time you get the 5th razor, 12th brush and the nth pot of cream and matching after shave you're heading into territory that would make Congress blush.

Yeah I got a little carried away on buying razors, and soaps, bought a lot of brushes because my three year old kept getting a hold of them and loosing them. I've probably got six brushes hiding somewhere in the house.

No problems with hidden brushes here. Just good old fashioned acquisitiveness. I will admit there may be a couple that I'm not sure where I put them, but they're not hidden!

Yeah, that's what she does, she plays with them and forgets what she did with them.

We haven't had time to do deep clean yet. When we do I'm sure I will have enough brushes to shave a platoon.
