I bought this razor because I couldn’t find the maker. If anyone has any info on it, it would be greatly appreciated. Seems to be of decent quality. Full hollow grind, square point, jimping on underside of shank. Synthetic handle and spacer.
No lettering, just a logo featuring two men sawing a log, both kneeling, one smoking a pipe. Sorry not sure how to post a picture.

A couple of names shows up when I google "two men sawing mark razor"; Gustav Melcher Sohn and C. Friedrich Kratz & Co. Both from late 1800's.

The mark of the former shows up in an image search as this:

Your razor lacks the text, however the tang of the razor is a little narrow to fit all that. Looks very similar to my eye, especially the pipe the guy on the left is smoking.

Hope that helps Smile

That was some excellent sleuthing. Your right, the logo is identical except for the writing and there is far less detail on the razor. Thank you for the help sir, it is greatly appreciated.
