Recently discovered that I love Martin de Candre Fougere soap.

Wondering if anyone has suggestions for a good aftershave to pair with it?

Fougeres have a pretty wide range, so I assume I shouldn't just grab any so-called "Fougere" splash off the shelf and call it a day. Wondering if anyone has found a good pairing that they'd recommend.

Not very long lasting, but Myrsol Agua Balsamica is a great match.

Other than the Myrsol recommendation I don’t know of a close match, but:

Paco Rabanne Pour Homme and Houbigant Fougere Royal are both fine matches.

Los Angeles Shaving Soap Co. - Black Fern is a nice pairing. It's a bit darker, still nice.

This is what I use.

I also enjoy the new Maol Grooming Heliopteris with MdC Fougere.

There is a new Terre d‘Hermès flanker „Vetiver“.
Nice vetiver scent, but with the TdH bitter notes, no oranges.
I like it, but to the best of my knowledge, there is no TdH Vetiver a.s. balm. Hopefully they will make one, as their TdH balm is very, very good.
It should match MDC vetiver pretty good, at least that are my impressions after smelling at this soap.

I thought Myrsol agua balsamic had a herby rosemary medicinal vibe.  Houbigant fougere was what I used when I still owned MdC.
APR Fougere Trois is a decent pairing splash.
