Yes, I am about to finish a soap. Having tried so many products all these years, I thought I'd never be able to finish a soap. I am thinking of using it more often the following weeks.

It's a CRSW Select V.2 Citrus, by the way. A wonderful soap. I am not sure if I will ever replace it. I want to finish more soaps before buying more.[Image: f96170ac0ed7c5413c0d23a5ee2ea096.jpg]

Congratulations. I rarely see the bottom of a soap.

Nick, it will take you longer than you realize to finish that soap.   To me it seems like when you get to that stage, the soap just keeps going and seemingly takes forever to die.

My Better Half informs me that in cosmetics, this is refereed to as "hitting pan". A rare sight indeed in a shavers den, I've only seen it less than half a dozen times (cremes in tubes don't count).

When it gets to this stage, I like to mash it all together irregularly. That way it loads very densely, but quickly.

Thank you, gents!

I will probably use it exclusively. The other citrus scented soap I have that I truly like is the MT Dark Limes. Another must have for the summer months.

Some comments:

I bought it two years ago. The scent strength remains the same until this day. The performance is excellent. Every time I use it, I know the shave will be great. I can't imagine how much better is the Glide base. I do believe all the comments I read here. The Select v.2 is already a very cushiony base and provides amazing shaves.

Two shaves later. I decided not to use it exclusively. I guess it won't last more than five shaves anyway.

One of the very few products I've enjoyed so much.

Hi Damon,

Yes, I still use these soaps. Not very much lately because the scents I have are not for the summer months( we have close to 30 degrees Celsius lately). They are great performing products! I'd say they're underrated, you don't read about these. There are so many artisan products available at the moment, we've lost the count. The other day I saw that they have some soaps available, so I guess they're still active. They deserve a try for sure.
