I've tried a few of their soaps, all perform in all the points important to a wet shaver.
The Cognac and Cuban Cigars has a great scent. Reminds me of my Grandfathers humidor
when I was a child.... Rolleyes
The La Poire Francaise, a sweet Pear, Honey and other wonderful sweet things.
Both are great performers and each hits a scent point that is their own.

IMO, they have the best fougere of those not copying an existing fragrance. It's their best scent I've smelled too.

What I like is the evergreen scent... It is a bright citrusy fresh green needle scent... Not the dry wood type of scent.

Their Absinthe scent is good too. I bought it because I thought it would be a nice cooling scent without getting into a menthol heavy scent. It smells just like Absinthe and lathers really well.

I was fortunate enough to try their tallow soap; duc de santal.  I don't believe it has hit market yet but will be soon. One of the easiest tallow soaps I have ever lathered. Performance was top shelf including skin care.

I've tried a sample of their Cognac and Cuban cigars aftershave and didn't fall in love with the scent. But I bought their fougere aftershave on a whim a few months ago and it's got a nice yet subtle scent.

The tallow soap sounds appealing though!

Your post made me order their Duc de Santal soap. Fendrihan carries it, tallow soap with lanolin. Shaved with it a few days ago. Amazing soap, might have become one of my favourite Sandalwood scents. Very close in scent to the D. R. Harris Sandalwood but I like it a little better. Lather and performance are great!

They also have a Nautilus scent that's tallow that I might try in the future.

You will not be disappointed with either the scent or the performance.  I know scent is a personal thing but this sandalwood should be well received by the masses.  It was the performance that stood out to me.  Off the charts in terms of slickness and post shave skin care

It is a winner... Thumbup    I've got six different H&V soaps in my collection, I love them all. Got to get the Nautilus.

Purchased a tub of the tallow Cognac and Cuban Cigar from the WCS. The scent is terrific and the performance is top notch. Unfortunately, my face became irritated after the second pass. I will do another shave in a week or so and hope that the irritation won't happen again...

I tried the Congac & Cigars and liked it. Unfortunately it did not like me and burned.

I too get a slight irritation from the C&C, I get it from all "tobacco" scent soaps I've tried (3)
but less with this one.

I enjoy their after shave balms. I used the FOUGERE this morning and frequent the Nautilus, Cognac and Cuban Cigars, and Terre d'Henri..

Used the Duc de Santal today. It is really good. It lathers like crazy, slick too. I bloomed the soap, used my HMW brush and it burst into
a fantastic lather..... Thumbup
Henri makes a great soap.

I agree with the HeV praise.  I have several scents.... C&CC, Nautilus, Fougere, Falls Lumberjack, Duc de Santal and Bergamot Vetiver.

BV is the only one that I am not sure about.  My clear favorites are DdS, Fougere and Nautilus with C&CC not far behind.

I have splashes for C&CC, Nautilus and DdS also.  Very impressive performance in my book plus interesting scents.
