Although this is another thread about scent, I'm having a hard time determining the category of their scents (current available products).

I have a sample of the Grand Chypre aftershave. This a spicy scent to my nose, more for winter wear (in my opinion). I also have the Oceana soap, which I like.

Which scent would you suggest trying, that would be more for the summer months. Cologne Russe maybe? The Reserve Classic might be another one.

Oh, I already tried Seville a few years back. I ended up passing it forward.

Reserve Cool, Classic, Fern

Cheshire from regular line

42 is a good summer soap as well.

If you are in US, consider getting some samples from Maggard if you don't like going through BST (in case you don't like the scent).

Reserve Cool, Jacinthe, and Lime, Lavender, and CedarWood would be my recommendations.

If you want something that smells nice and summery, I would look into Mike's Hungarian Lavender or perhaps Pereira Shavery's new offering. Damn good soaps for shaving as well Smile

B&M scents are quite challenging.

My favourites are Chesire, Seville, Dickens and Cologne Russe.

But I don't really pay that much attnetion to scents in shaving soaps and after shaves any longer.

When it comes to scents all my fcosu is on my fragrances, and I use a fragrance every day of the year, preferably a new one each day year round.

With that said, a nice scent in a shaving soap is still a nice thing, as long as it's not overpowering.

In my line of work, I have to be careful with scent strength. Clubman, for example, would be too strong.

I agree that Mike's is a great line, but no aftershave is offered. I'm also careful of the aftershave not stinging too much, but great quality.

I actually had a sample of Reserve Cool. I believe it's an attempt at Floid Blue. For some reason, my nose can pick a distinctive "taste", which makes it less desirable. The same was for RazoRock Blue.

My favorite B&M "summer" scents are Reserve Fern, Oceana and Diamond.

Agreed.
I own both and still have 90% left of both.
Very well composed fougere scented shaving soaps.

I love LLCW and am glad Will brought it back (it was one of his founding scents). I bought two in case it doesn't end up coming back. Oceana, which OP tried, is awesome and I'm sad the Latha line is disappearing because of the loss of that scent.
