Check how this knot has been showing off with maybe 10-15 lathers. I am looking forward to putting it in a purple heart wood handle. These tips are soft right now and since many are very fine, the knot may have some more firmness opposite of the canopy. I am wondering if I can make a 2 piece wood band to wrap around the base of the knot to pull the ends of the bloom width slightly inward. It will probably have a very functional free lofts but I want some hug, pull or say drag on the skin when I perform the circular motion with the knot. The color is very gentle on the knot hair as well as forming nice, naturally spiked clumps. It hold a generous amount of water so I am looking for a companion brush to my brush pictured last.

What do you members like about well balanced knots using 3 banded or highly color hair? Bonus question, is high mountain white silver tip or can silver tip be high mountain white?
