Been mulling it over, and I'd like to thin out my den some more. You'll find some rare beauties in here, along with what I feel are good priced values. I'd prefer to sell, but I could be tempted by trades for C&S Fragrances, shaving soaps, and maybe a high end closed comb double edge razor. The razor I would be looking for something with a bit better cutting efficiency as a Feather ASD2 with similar smoothness. I've tried the closed combs for ATT M1, R1, and H1. M1 felt too similar to the Feather and sold the head, M1 is an improvement if I haven't shaved in awhile, but after one pass becomes too harsh, and the H1 is outright too harsh.

I have forgotten to mention what items have their original packaging, but if I have it, I will send it.

Brushes

M&F Faux Ivory 3/3 –  SOLD!

Bought for $175 if I recall correctly, retail $210; selling for $160

I am not the original owner. I used it approximately 3-5 times. Excellent brush with moderate density and good flow. A bit redundant now that I have this in another brush.
Specs: 26.6mm knot, 70.4mm handle, 53mm loft

Vintage 70/80s Plisson Size 18 HMW 3-band Real Horn
TRADED!

Bought for $550, no longer available; selling for $535
I am not the original owner of this lovely brush. It’s been through quite a few households from what I understand. Absolutely silky smooth hair. I would liken it to a 3-band gel tips it is so soft. I only used it about 3 times I think. Truly a special brush that deserves to be getting more use.
Specs: 26mm knot, 57.2mm handle, 65mm loft (Only did the handle measurement here myself; went with specs on the labeled travel tube it came in)

Thater 2-band Silvertip Fan 4125/3 in Faux Ivory –

Retails for $200, selling for $155.
Original owner. Used perhaps 5 times. This is a common theme. Too many brushes to use any I have extensively. A very soft brush, excellent flow, but be warned it splays quite a bit due to the fan shape. Superb if you like a big feeling brush. Comes with original packaging.
Specs: 31mm knot, 51mm handle, 48mm loft

Zenith 506U Olivewood Manchurian badger
SOLD!

Bought for 54.00 euro years ago, still the same retail; Selling for $55.
Original owner. Used less than 5 times. Good backbone and density. No problems.
Specs: 29.7mm knot, 55.5mm handle, 48mm loft.

Edwin Jagger Loxley Faux Horn Silvertip –
Retail £60 + £1.99 delivery, or 83.77; Selling for $62
Original owner. Between 5-7 uses. Better density than Vulfix Super and softer with good flowthrough.
Specs: 22.5mm knot, 52.5mm handle, 48mm loft

Savile Row 3118 “Il Bambino” Silvertip –
Retail $95.00, paid 50; selling for $50
Not original owner. Previous owner bought from another owner. I never used this to what I remember.
Specs: 21.2mm knot, 41.5mm handle, 46mm loft

Vulfix Travel Brush, Unknown badger grade –
Can’t recall what I bought it for, I think $30; selling for $25
Bought this on ebay. The travel tube says Vulfix, but the brush does not. I have not used it, but I have ran it across my face briefly, and on the hand, and it is quite a soft brush. I would rate it at Just a smidge under silvertip, and upper end best badger. I’ve seen a few hairs fall out, but I don’t think it will be a shedding problem. Tube has several cracks in it.
Specs: 21.2mm knot, 37.3mm handle, 40mm loft

Henri Et Victoria Luxurious Shaving brush, High Mountain White - SOLD!
Retail $80, bought for $41.50; selling for $40
Not original owner. Never used it. Lovely faux ivory grain to the handle, and probably my favorite handle shape. Part of the reason I grabbed it when I saw it. Lol
Specs: 25.1mm knot, 52.7mm handle, 51mm loft.

WSP “Earl” High Mountian White, Discontined –
SOLD!

Paid $38; selling for $38
Original owner. Never used. Note it has a heavy handle.
Specs: 24.1mm knot, 48.8mm handle, 44mm handle
Weight: 4.7 oz, or 134g

WSP “Monarch” High Density Premium Silvertip –
Retail $69, selling for $40
Not original owner. Used myself less than 5 times. In excellent shape and a great performer.
Specs: 22.7mm knot, 48.7mm handle, 47mm loft

Kent BLK2 Pure badger –
SOLD!
Paid $47, retails for $90; selling for $45
Not original owner. If I used it, it was once. Bought to collect a BLK set, and find it now a bit redundant with too many brushes.
Specs: 23mm knot, 49.7mm handle, 49mm loft

Multi-colored LoveYourShave TGN Finest – SOLD!
Bought for $30; selling for $30
Not original owner. Never used this brush. This handle is beautiful, but too many brushes.
Specs: 28.3mm knot, 54.8mm handle, 45mm loft

Virginia Sheng 30mm Finest – SOLD!
Bought for $36.88; selling for $30
Original owner. Used once. Seems like you can’t buy this any longer in this handle. Would be a great brush if you want a large brush. Good backbone, and one of the better random knots I’ve tried.
Specs: 33mm knot, 56.7mm handle, 55mm loft, 44.1mm at widest point near top. Near Chubby 3 girth I believe in a taller handle.

Whipped Dog 30mm HMW in Teal –
Bought for $53; Selling for $42.50
Original owner. Used once. Gets real crunchy upon drying. Has a gel tip like feel, but not as nice as the higher end gel tip brushes.
Specs: 30.9mm knot, 56.6mm handle, 51mm loft

Whipped Dog 30mm Silvertip –
Bought for $58; selling for $45.00
Original owner. Used once. Gets real crunchy upon drying, and also has a gel tip like feel, but not as nice as higher end gel tip brushes.
Specs: 30mm knot, 65mm handle, 50mm loft

Whipped Dog 24mm Black/White Synthetic Knot w/ Tall Amber handle drilled 10mm deeper –
Bought for $31, same retail price; selling for $26
Never used. Never glued into place either, so you’ll need to do that yourself. I will swap the handle around if you want. Brushes have a slice of cork inside to get it at the loft where I wanted to set it at, and I just never got around to it.
Specs: 65mm handle, 26.8mm knot, 50mm loft (This is the loft if you keep the knot at the level with the cork in place)

Whipped Dog 24mm Cashmere? Synthetic Knot w/ Tall Faux Ivory handle drilled 10mm deeper –
Bought for $31, same retail price; selling for $26 Note: I believe Larry used to have a cashmere option as this is not a regular synthetic knot, it is much softer. I’m keeping the same price as the Black/White knot.
Never used. Never glued into place either, so you’ll need to do that yourself. I will swap the handle around if you want. Brushes have a slice of cork inside to get it at the loft where I wanted to set it at, and I just never got around to it.

Vintage VP Leonhardy Pure Badger Translucent Red material shaving brush with Fine Shaving Synthetic brush bundled –
Bought VP for $44; selling for $40. The Fine Synthetic is being added for free.
I bought this a few years ago off of ebay. There is no label on the brush saying VP Leonhardy, but that is what the auction had in the listing, and I could also see from his other listings that the other brushes had a label on the bottom detailing specs of the brush as his others had. I felt it was legitimate. I never used this brush. This has a translucent root beer color to it with a bit more emphasis towards the red spectrum. A quick feel of the knot on the hand and face gives a hint of some prickle, but no where near most manufacturer’s grade of pure these days.
The Fine Brush has no usable problems with it, but it has a hefty glue bump which diminishes the amount of lather it can hold in a pass. For me it was only good for one pass. More an irritant than anything, and if you’d like to try a Plissoft type synthetic, this isn’t a bad choice if you want to get the vintage brush above also!
Specs: 20.7mm knot, 52.3mm handle, 49mm loft for VP brush.
Specs: 26.5mm knot, 42mm handle, 45mm loft for Fine Shaving brush

Razors –

Merkur 23C Long Handle Razor –
Bought for $21.99, Retail is $29.99 avg; selling for $20
Used this razor once. Can’t remember using it, but it has soap residue in the plate channels. Nice little razor, but plenty of others I like better. I do like this better than the WCS razors.

WCS Midnight Collection Razor 110B and 175B bundle – SOLD!
Bought for $16.78 total; selling as an add-on only for $13
Used both of these once. Don’t seem to bad, but they are too heavy. Not for me. Got these when they were on sale, and normally go for more retail.

Above The Tie Atlas razor handle only –
SOLD!

Retails for $56, selling for $40
Bought this second hand. In good physical condition.

Above The Tie Colossus razor handle only –
Retails for $56, selling for $40
Bought this second hand. In good physical condition.

Copper bowl and cup -  Note: This links to all images. For some reason I can't create an album for this.

Mexas Hammered Mules Copper bowl and cup –
Bought these new. Cup cost 22.09 new, and the bowl cost 26.59 new; selling for $40
I remember seeing someone posting a picture of their copper bowl/cup years back, and it inspired me to replicate it. I decided to add a cup to soak the brush in too. I happen to have two sets, and I decided I would see if someone would be interested in such a setup. I’ve used the other set mostly as display. Recently started using the taller cup again with my scuttle and forgot just how well that little cup held heat! I imagine if you put hot water in the copper bowl before shaving, or the bowl on a coffee cup warmer, it’d make a good makeshift scuttle. Works great for bowl mixing.

Is that Merkur Man's old Plisson?  If it is, I have had the honor of trying it and that brush is PHENOMENAL!  There is nothing like the vintage 70s HMW.
