What would you buy / prefer if you have to pick one for regular use?

Please explain why you prefer one over the other.

I say both, there is no reason on paying big bucks for like new or new Gillette razor. I'm awaiting the Rex that group buy just closed 2 days a go, but in no way shape or form I would lets say sell my vintage adjustables if Rex outperform them.

I've seen my own collection less times than I've seen this photo being posted almost every day in a bunch of forums.

In short if I were you I would get a slim adjustable that is in great shape. If you don't mind spending the extra money I would get a Rex.

If you are choosing between a gillette fatboy adjustable or Rex I would go with the Rex every time.

Different strokes.......I haven't found any new razor near the same price point that comes close to my vintage razors and especially my Fat Boy. And my Fat Handle Tech, my 40s era Aristocrat........

I hope the Rex since I just ordered one. I have a sliim and I don’t particularly care for it. I find the butterfly head to bulky. I also don’t think there is enough blade feel, even set at 9. It shaves plenty close though. I just prefer more exposure.

I really wanted to like the fatboy, I just never could get as good of a shave from it as my other gillettes. I would agree about the aristocrat, it's one of my favorites.

Right on, my Aristocrat is my prized possession. Was my grandads and then my dads now it's mine. Great shaver!

I have the Gillette Fatboy and slim adjustable razors. I just purchased the REX and it gives a much better shave. Excellent quality.
