Just used the Klar Sport. Haven’t used my Klar in literally years now.

I broke my tins up and have transferred all my 3 Klar soaps to other bowls.

It’s annoying to use the soap in the small tin they come in, in my view.

Scent: Very mild fresh aquatic. Quite pleasant but nothing to write home about.

Lather: Excellent - full of volume and very stable.

Glide: Excellent - must be a straight razor shavers dream.

Cushion: Very good (for a soap)

Overall performance: 10/10

I had 3 days stubble and got one of the better BBS shaves I’ve had for a long time. I normally don’t hunt BBS, just look for DFS, but with this veggie soap, you can go for that extra pass without irritating your skin.

This soap is on par with the discontinued I Coloniali Mango oil shaving soap in my opinion.

And quite a bit better than the also veggie based Martin de Candre.

I do wish they would make a version in a full sized container...either a wood bowl or something fancier like the Czech & Speake spun aluminum bowls.

Yeahp...that is the soap! So I also think the tin is a bit small. What I did was put hot water on top of the puck, and let it sit there while I took a shower. Then after I finished the shower, I just scraped a little off with my fancy spoon , pressed it into the bottom of my lather bowl, and went to town whipping it up. It worked like a charm, and I agree with Claus...really high quality shave soap. I am actually going to buy the almond one here from Phil at bullgoose in a few weeks. I just really enjoy the almond scents!

On a side note, I tried the “Love” shave soap from Soap Commander this morning and was really really happy with the scent....freshly cut rose with a hint of lemon smell. Performance was also solid!

I tried the new Siliski toasted almond soap today, and loved it. It put me in an almond sort of mood, so I am going to try the Klar almond soap tomorrow! I am really really looking forward to it!

The almond klar is excellent, and the residual slickness is pretty tough to beat! Great shave to start the day!

I was born in Heidelberg so this soap has to find a spot on my shelf.
