Do you own that one? If so, just curious how it works as I almost bought one of those. Before my DB 1.5 I used a very nice mug from SRD that I was quite pleased with.

Well, I almost ordered one of those also. Let me know how you like it. This is the SRD mug that I bought and used everyday until I got my DB 1.5.

The thing that's nice about SRD is that they have 95% of their ceramics in stock. A local potter where there located make these for them.

I think the scuttles are flying off the shelf. But the mugs a little bit slower moving.

You guys are killing me with these mugs and scuttles. They look really nice. And I don't even like putting soap in a mug!

Mine was 4.5 inches. Here is the link to their bowl/mug/scuttles.

I had that mug (Bulldog, or something, as I recall) but didn't like it for a couple of reasons. I just wasn't thrilled about it. I had planned to return it - the guys at SRD were really great to work with - but it met its untimely demise by falling 3+ feet off my kitchen counter before I could send it.

Love the glaze on that one and the apothecary style handle!

Unfortunately when mine arrived it was in a thousand pieces. The packing was awful as it had no bubble wrapping. When I contacted SRD and showed them a picture of the broken scuttle they immediately issued me a full refund and an apology. Its too bad because I was really looking forward to using it.

You would think it would be packed in way to prevent something like this from happening.
Did they send you a new one?
