Shaving mugs come in all shapes and sizes. Let's see your favorite shaving mug. This is my favorite. It's from Classic Shaving. A Beehive style. It measures 3.5 inch. across and 2.5 inch high. I really like it.

My current favourite is one that made it's way to me not that long ago; a lathering mug from Pereira that you can (as far as I know) only get along with a very nice soap. Roughly 10 cm across and 6 cm deep, it fits nicely in my hand and has a built in brush rest Biggrin

My favorite is a hand-painted cup that I picked up at a local thrift store.  The design in the bottom provides extra texture for easy lathering.  I use the cup when traveling to area B&Bs.

Me too for the Marvy. It's indestructible, so I don't have to worry about accidents. I use mine mostly to soak brushes:

I have a Jay's Clay mug I really like, but this one is really growing on me fast.  I got if from my child hood home while helping my mother pack.  I have only had it for a week.

That is nice. Are they still available? Do they have a Web site?

That is funny; I’ve always been told that orange peel finish is something to avoid in wood working. I can see it works well in this case, lovely lather bowl Smile

No unfortunately I think they've been discontinued. Its a common brand in the shaving world  but it took me a while to find a website that still had it in stock.
