Not sure why I am trying and using anything else. Used Peppermint and Rosemary today and it was terrific. The Peppermint added a slight menthol cool for the summer! Happy Shaving!

I think Mike makes fantastic soaps, and they really don't get the press they deserve.

Orange cedarwood and black pepper might be my favorite soap.

Just titaniced (sic) my way through a tub of Peppermint & Rosemary. Outstanding, as are ALL of Mike's soaps.

Mike is an awesome soap, which I love dearly. But there are so many other great soaps out there too, so I can't limit myself to just one brand Biggrin

Mike's is one of the best. I love the earthiness of his Hungarian Lavender in addition to the shave quality.

I saw on his website that he had a beta batch of Rose, Cedarwood and Patchouli on the samples page.  Did anyone have a chance to try this?

I have Rose and Cedarwood and it's phenomenal, one of my favorite rose scents.  Adding patchouli sounds interesting, maybe a dirty rose scent?

I feel, that once you use a high quality soap and get it dialed in to perfection for your facelathering, it’s pretty much meaningless for me to own a variety of soaps.

It’s only for the scent profiles in the different brand of great soaps that makes it worthwhile for others.

Since scent is no longer of high importance in soaps to me, I could pretty much build my entire shaving soap collection on Mike’s, B&M, Tabula Rasa, CRSW and Jabonman and forget everything else.

I do however not enjoy soaps with a too mild scent, where the Tallow overpowers the scents. Hence why I don’t use the great performing Haslinger soaps any longer.

Mike’s have a very nice variety of pretty mild scents and a stellar performance, so this could be one of the mainstays in my den.

The lime is great! Straight forward lime that is medium strength with lime essential oils only. Highly recommend. Awesome summertime soap.

A lime scent (St John’s West Indian Lime aftershave) was my first olefactory love, and one never forgets a first love.

Not necessarily the best scent for summertime.

Not necessarily the best scent for summertime.

This article says it causes Phytophotodermatitis in very RARE cases. Also lists 11 benefits of lime essential oil.
