Over on the Sharpologist. Well worth a read, he basically agrees with all my point from when I reviewed it in May  Biggrin

Hans, I read the Sharpologist review and Mantic59 clearly likes this soap a lot.  I've been using it extensively since May, and agree that it's excellent.

This soap is so tempting but I have enough an embarrassingly large soap collection.

How does it compare to CRSW Glide?

Shawn, I get comparably good shaves from Glide and Pereira Shavery.   I think that Glide Olfactory Hue, which is the one I've used, has a darker and more complex scent.  However, Pereira Shavery has a refreshing light scent which is quite appealing.

Am I correct in figuring that this soap in the ceramic dish is over $75? I'd need to sample first if so.

I just now saw the tin option at around $30. More reasonable.

The tin is actually $18, while the ceramic dish is $36.90.

I had both, but recently finished the tin.

If you want the ceramic with matching lathering bowl, its about 79€ when you buy directly from Pereira. If you're less sure, go for the tin and give it a go Smile

I stopped carrying the scuttle with soap. It comes in a wooden box that is too large for a flat rate box (it is too tall for the large flat rate box) and, it weighs over 2 pounds when packaged.  Free shipping killed the profit. My site does not allow me to exclude certain items from free shipping so, I had to make an executive decision.
