Gentlemen, let's see those acquisitions in July.

I ordered the new SOC Taj Resin two band late Friday afternoon, and received it Monday morning.  Here it is right out of the box:

ATT  Calypso M1 - I have been looking on every B/S/T for the past year.  Stopped looking and found one Monday and excellent price plus looks new.  My Saturday razor and probably order the R1 base plate right after my new Paladin brush.

Today I received a frozen box from Stirling Soap Co. with enough chill to freeze the North Atlantic and sink the Titanic! At the Maggard's meet I bought my first Glacial set - Obsidian and was hooked.  So I could not resist the urge to cool down the rest of the summer and add a few more to the den!

Interesting... lemony-orange. That sounds like something I’d enjoy. You’ll have to let us know what you think of that scent.

From today's sale of a retired barber, 2 quarts of Dickinson's yellow label witch hazel in a one gallon glass bottle, 8 cakes of Williams tallow goodness, a oak barber box and a so-so Sheffield SR that has perfect ivory scales begging to be reused.

The Lemony Orange is really nice.  It passed the family test as the favorite of the lot.  It is also really nice lathering up and high recommend.  To me it does not smell like candy but the real thing and is made with essential oils.  It is a great summer scent, cool and refreshing for those hot days.  I don't find the chill to be too excessive, but I am sure it would be rather cold for some.  The menthol does not over power but it is present.  I think it may be a bit more intrusive on the Eskimo Tuxedo scent.  I only used it once - yesterday, but thoroughly enjoyed it.  I found the soap to be a bit on the hard side, and it takes a bit work to build up the lather.  Nevertheless, it isn't a problem with my water and is worth the little extra effort.  I highly recommend it with my experience with other Stirling products, even though I need to use it a few more times to be fair.
