Just FYI the stainless versions are coated with nonstick nastiness. I returned one after opening it and found out that it is hardly ever mentioned.

I assume that the nonstick nastiness refers to the Bialetti Musa that is made in India.  Our Italian (Cazzago San Martino, west of Brescia in the Po Valley) GAT Carmen stainless steel moka pot has no coatings, inside or out.
