This is the new formula Proraso shave cream that contains eucalyptus and menthol. There is nothing equal in making tons of lather with Proraso. A really great menthol kick but it doesn't leave your face feeling frigid just very refreshing. Great cushion and protection I give this new formula a 10/10 in every category including price. You get a lot for little.

I kind of liked the menthol bomb of the original version, but didn't care too much for all the parabens. Glad the parabens are removed, but miss the menthol slap in the face.

The Proraso pre-shave is powerfully mentholated, although I don't know if I'd call it a slap. I love it with a hot towel.

If I could only use one cream, this would be the one. But thank goodness, I have a lot of cream choices.

This is the only cream that leaves my neck line blotchy and irritated....I had to stop using it.....it took me about a month to figure out which cream caused the irritation.....

I started with Proraso M&E. I have since found other good creams and even a soap I enjoy using, but none of them gives a better shave! I think the new formulation is even better than the old. Tongue

Was this the old or the new version? If one or the other and you still want to try it, switch the version. The old one is still available at some online vendors and also the C.O. Bigelow, (large tube only AFAIK) is the old version of Proraso.

Would you believe that I find the new version to be even cooler?

You would be the first person I've heard say that. I did use it last night with some old pre/post I have...now that's the menthol kick I was looking for.

There isn't a big difference in the cooling sensation, but the new version to me anyway, is definitely cooler-feeling. I know a lot of guys say the older version is, but not me.
