Hello guys,
Did you meet on the market soap with a smell of exhaust from a 2-stroke engine?
I know this strange but ... I love this scent.

So... unburnt gasoline, incomplete combustion products, oil, and hot metal? While part of me can see the appeal, I would be made to sleep on the couch... out on the porch. The neighbours porch, that is.

Haha...yes. It reminds me of some of the odd Jelly Belly flavors such as dirt and vomit. I don't see the appeal.

I don't know, I always loved the smell of burnt bean oil back in my motocross days.

The smell properties are mainly from the oil - castor being the best smell raced these at pro level as teen

Barrister and Mann Promises is one that comes to mind.  They claim that its an homage to their time they spent snowmobiling in upstate NY.  Ive got a tub of it and Id say I get a hint of 2-stroke exhaust from it.
About Chilseled Face Gearhead, I used to have a tub of it and I got more the scent of rubber and leather from it.  I used it for about a month and pitched it.  It was a scent for me that sounded kind of cool when I bought it but got old really fast.

It seems some of the soap makers are following in the footsteps of the jelly bean industry. Here is an interesting read.

I like Mason Boutique Octane, but I believe they are no longer in business.  It is a great scent inspired by the owners motorcycle if I remember correctly.  I has a gas/oil type scent.  I wish I had the AS, but only bought the soap.  If you can find any older stock, etc. I think you will like it.

The next scent after that could be that of the so-called "varnish" that clogs up their carburetors.

No, thanks.

Check out Demeter. It's a fragrance house that does funky off beat scents like Earrhworm, Glue, Jelly Doughnut among others lol. I haven't gone through their whole catalog (it's rather large), but you may find something there that appeals to you. If something does, just get something unscented and add that it.

I bought a Chiseled Face "Redneck" sample years ago and it smelled like oil + rubber (reminded me of walking into Autozone).  Sounds like they brought it back with a better name.
