Roamed around my town today, looking for something to shoot. These are shot with my Canon S70. I also shot film, but will have to have them processed.

The tracks seem to go best with the train.

Memories.  In 1999, I hiked the Appalachian Trail.  To meet up with friends in Front Royal, I hiked 30 miles one day.  The best cold beer I ever drank was that evening in Front Royal.

Tons of people hike that trail every year. I used to love hiking, rock climbing, all kinds of outdoor  activities. Not physically able these days; too much arthritis. But I can hobble around with a camera just fine.

Nice pictures, Mike.  I love the Main Street with the sidewalk clock.  Looks like a really nice town.  What's the population?

Yes. This composition has all the right aesthetics for my sensibilities.

That clock is old, and there is a lot of history tied to it.
Population is about 14 thousand or so.
Thanks, Johnny!
